Animation & Digital Arts Undergraduate Minor


A student attending USC may apply to minor in Animation & Digital Arts if he or she is maintaining normal degree progress and is not under any type of departmental, academic or university probation. Students must contact the School of Cinematic Arts John C. Hench Division of Animation & Digital Arts at 213.740.3986 for an application and admission procedures.

Requirements for the Minor in Animation

A total of 32 units is required. The following courses are to be taken in a prescribed sequential order.

Grade Point Average Requirements

A minimum grade of C (2.0) in each course is required. A grade of C- (1.7) or lower does not fulfill a minor requirement.

Time Limit

If undergraduate students do not complete their degree within six consecutive years from the beginning of their first semester of completed course work at USC, they may not be allowed to continue following their minor requirements as specified above. This time limit includes semesters during which students are not enrolled.
