Brad Riddell teaches courses in screenwriting.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Riddell worked professionally in film and video production for five years before attending USC to study screenwriting at the School of Cinematic Arts. His thesis script eventually led him to write
American Pie Presents: Band Camp for Universal, which was released on video in 2006.
Riddell has since earned two more assignments from Universal: a
Josie and the Pussycats prequel and a PG
Slap Shot sequel. He is currently writing a sequel to
Road Trip for Paramount, a feature for MTV and is co-producing his script,
Harmony, with director Stu Pollard. Riddell is a founding director of the Kentucky Film Lab, a not-for-profit corporation working to develop and support a community of filmmakers in Kentucky.
