Peter Preuss oversees everything electronic in the Interactive Media Division. From the IMD labs to research projects, Preuss can be found setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining the Divisions diverse technical infrastructure. Preuss also manages a team of student workers for help in day-to-day technical operations.

Preuss graduated from the University of Southern California in 2002 with B.A. in Psychology, a minor in Film and a minor in Multimedia & Creative Technologies.

After graduation, Preuss worked at Comchoice, where he developed a software solution to automatically check DVD subtitles for accuracy. He then worked for Ascent Media as a deployment engineer, doing on site system installation, training and customer support. While at Ascent, Preuss worked closely with film studios and cable companies to roll out digital video distribution and content management systems.
