In addition to production workshops, Robert Jones also teaches editing for scriptwriters.

Jones is an award winning film editor whose credits include  It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Invitation To A Gunfighter (1964), Ship Of Fools (1965), Guess Who's Coming To Dinner? (1967), Love Story (1970), The Last Detail (1973), Shampoo (1975), Bound For Glory (1976), Heaven Can Wait (1978), City Hall (1996) and Bulworth (1998).

He penned Being There (1979), episodes for Showtime's Fairie Tale Theatre, and received an Academy Award for his screenplay to the 1978 film, Coming Home.
