For Joe Janeti, teaching animators the art of storytelling has turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences he has ever had in a film school classroom. As part of both the John C. Hench Division of Animation & Digital Arts and the Division of Writing for Screen & Television, Janeti teaches a writing workshop in creativity and imagination as well as content and consciousness.

The author and producer of numerous PBS specials, medical documentaries and music events, Dr. Janeti discovered Cirque du Soleil and executive produced its first tour ever outside of Canada. In addition to several sold screenplays, Janeti has published book chapters and journal articles on medicine, folk music, American studies, sculpture, psychology and energy.

He was Executive Vice-President of Monarch Pictures, in charge of the literary side of the company.
