Don Hall is the owner of The MovieSound Co., a post-production sound service. He teaches production workshops as well as courses in intermediate film production.

He was the supervising sound editor and sound editor on 92 feature films, including Young Frankenstein (1974), The Towering Inferno (1974), Diggstown (1992), Single White Female (1992), Cops And Robbersons (1994), and Bushwhacked (1995).  He received a BAFTA Award for Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid (1969), and an Emmy for Tribes (1990). Among his other honors are three Golden Reel Awards, five Cinema Society Awards, and one Peabody.

Hall is the chairman of the Sound Editing Rules Committee for the Motion Picture Academy and vice-chair of the Student Academy Awards Committee.
