Sharon Elizabeth Doyle began writing plays, and then moved into PBS documentaries for which she won a CINE Golden Eagle and a silver medal in the New York Film and Television Festival. She began writing for “real” television with
Cagney and Lacey and since then has written over 20 episodes for such shows as
21 Jump Street,
Reasonable Doubts and produced nine television movies including
Stolen Babies, which won an Emmy for Mary Tyler Moore. Doyle's most recent credit was as the writer-producer of
Nero Wolfe on A&E. She is currently working on a documentary on a girls school in an Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan.
