Paul Demeyer started his career in Belgium where he directed commercials, story boarded and animated on TV shows and a feature film for Pen Film and BRT, the national Belgian television. He teaches a master class in animation at USC and has also taught animation at the Royal Academy of Gent.

Since 1993 Paul Demeyer has been living in Los Angeles where he directed episodes of the television series Duckman (1994-1996) and also worked on Rugrats as creative producer. He directed the animated feature Rugrats in Paris (2000) and sequence directed The Rugrats Movie (1998) and The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002) for Paramount/ Nickelodeon Movies.
