190… 290… 466… 480… 508. First Look. First Pitch.These are just some of the shared experiences that USC School of Cinematic Arts students and alumni have in common. With almost 80 years of history and over 10,000 alumni, our community continues to grow and thrive. SCA alumni have raised the bar in every aspect of entertainment, from the creation of classic film and television programs to critical analysis of those programs to innovative new projects in interactive media.
With the creation of the new SCA Alumni Community Web site and the online Job Board, the launch of a monthly e-newsletter, expanded career services, and a new screening event series, alumni—as well as future alumni— now have more opportunities than ever to connect in new and better ways with each other and the school itself.
But for the School of Cinematic Arts to maintain its position as the top educational institution in the country for film, television and new media, we need help from all of you! Did you know that one of the key factors that drives university rankings by publications such as U.S. News &World Report is the percentage of alumni who donate back to their alma mater? The size of the gift is not as important as the fact that you make a gift—of any size—every year.
More importantly, by donating to SCA, you become part of a select group of alumni and students actively helping us train the next generation of entertainment industry leaders with the best faculty, facilities, equipment and programs. We call this group the SCA Network.

Join The SCA NETWORK
So how do I become a part of the SCA Network? It’s easy—just visit our secure Online Giving site to make a gift, and to designate your gift toward such areas as the Dean’s Fund, Parent Fund or our Leadership Circle. As long as you make a gift of at least $25, you’re in the SCA Network!
In order to join the SCA Network, SCA alumni and students must activate or update their profile via the SCA Community Web site (scacommunity.usc.edu). If you do not already have an SCA Community account/password, you will be able to get one via this Web site—it’s free and open to all SCA alumni and students. (Please be advised that it may take a few days for your account to be approved and your Network status activated).The SCA Community is the best way to stay connected to everything happening at the school, including the latest news and SCA Network events.
