Bostick, Michael 1990 MFA Peter Stark: will co-produce with Tom Shadyac, the true story of John Francis, who walked from one end of the country to the other and didn't speak a word for nearly two decades.

Bryman, Gary 1996 BA Production: is a producer for Mandate Picture's Boogeyman 2, which is currently in production.

Chen, Arvin current student : received Honorable Mention for his film Mei in the Asian American category of the 12th Annual DGA Student Film Awards for Women and Minority Directors.

Cragg, Nelson 2003 MFA Production: is the director of photography for Mandate Pictures' Boogeyman 2, which is currently in production.

Cutler, R.J. 2002 BA CNTV: along with A&E IndieFilms, is bringing fashion dynamo Anna Wintour to the bigscreen in a feature-length documentary chronicling the making of Vogue's September issue in which he will direct.

De Laurentiis, Luigi 2003 BA Production: will produce with his father, Aurelio De Laurentiis, I Kill, a serial-killer thriller based on an Italian bestseller of the same name.

Dewan, Vineet 2006 MFA Production: won for film Clear Cut, Simple in the Asian American category of the 12th Annual DGA Student Film Awards for Women and Minority Directors.

DiStefano, Mark 1994 MFA CNTV: sold his feature film The Akula Job to Impact Pictures and Constantin Films. It is a high concept thriller that takes place six hundred meters under the sea, when a female DEA agent hires a master thief to pull off a diamond heist on a submarine.

Easterling, Kathy Cinema: won her seventh Emmy as a writer for the syndicated game show Jeopardy!. She is now in her 21st season on the hit show.

Ellis, Kirk attended 1983 BA Production: has been attached as the wrtier for the film in development The Worst Hard Time, which was a book originally written by Timothy Egan.

Feig, Paul 1984 BA Production: will rewrite and direct Warner Bros.'s Smooth Operator, an action comedy that follows a CIA agent/ladies man who must train a computer nerd so that he can seduce a female operative.

Fleder, Gary 1993 MA Cinema: will direct The Express, a Universal drama about football player Ernie Davis, the first black player to win the Heisman Trophy.

Friedman, Mark 1994 MA CNTV: will write Fox's original drama, Father Figure. This will be the first collaboration between Levy and Friedman since he scripted Levy's senior thesis film at USC.

Gray, Gordon 1986 Business: will executive produce the project Unhitched, a comedy about two thirtysomething divorcees who move in together to start new lives.

Grazer, Brian 1974 BA Psychology: is developing a sequel to Inside Man with Spike Lee for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment; will produce Universal's Prodigal Son, a romantic comedy that his wife, Gigi Levangie Grazer will write with Mimi James; will produce L.A. Riots, a drama framed around the racially charged April 1992 riots.

Hein, Steven : is a producer for Mandate Pictures' Boogeyman 2, which is currently in production.

Heller, George 2001 Cinema: has teamed with three classmates to become a conduit between students and Hollywood, an alliance that spread to other film schools and led to his company, Foursight Entertainment; executive produced Haven, the Orlando Bloom - Bill Paxton.

Heslov, Grant 1986 BFA CNTV: with his Smoke House partner, George Clooney, is buying screen rights to John Grisham's nonfiction book The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town in which Heslov and Clooney will soley produce.

Howard, Ron attended Cinema: will receive the American Society of Cinematographers' Board of Governors Award.

Humphrey, John H. 1982 MA Cinema: published Middle East Memoirs a book that takes the reader through Humphrey's experience of working for the Syracuse University Film Project in the Middle East.

Johnson, Diane Lisa 2005 MFA Production: received Honorable Mention for her film Swimming in the women's category of the 12th Annual DGA Student Film Awards for Women and Minority Directors.

Katz, Evan 1986 MFA Peter Stark: will write the script for Fox's The Amateur.

Kirschner, David : will co-produce the comedy Birth Mother, which will be the third teaming of the scripting team and producers Kirschner and Corey Sienega.

Lambrinou, Daphne 2005 MFA Production: won for her film Paperboat in the women's category of the 12th Annual DGA Student Film Awards for Women and Minority Directors.

Lee, Alexander 2002 Production: will direct an IFC Television news special Terror from Tokyo; in post-production on his feature length documentary The Real Shaolin.

Lehr, Leslie 1982 BA Cinema: is writing Club Divorce about a woman who lives happier ever after, for Craig Anderson Productions for Lifetime Television; will write a comic novel Welcome to Club Divorce about a group of women starting their second act, for Kensington Press; recently published by Warner Books 2/2007 Welcome to the Club, The Honeymoon's Over.

Levy, Shawn 1994 MA CNTV: will produce Fox's original drama, Father Figure. This will be the first collaboration between Levy and Friedman since Friedman scripted his senior thesis film at USC.

Oyamendan, Ose 2002 MFA Production: won honorable mention for his screenplay Resistance at the Tribeca Film Festival's All Access Connects program. He also had his one-hour drama optioned by Fox as part of its Writers Initiative program.

Piechocki, Jim 1985 Cinema: recently created Re-Mission, a video game aimed at young cancer patients for HopeLab Inc., a non-profit medical foundation created by eBay founders; he will adapt author Harry Harrison's science fiction book, Deathworld, into a theatrical action screenplay about an intergalactic hero who rescues earth from ecological catastrophe.
