Where can I get more information on these courses?

Contact the appropriate division office if you have questions regarding a specific class. SCA Student Affairs (CTV G130) can provide you with information on the degree programs and the Minor in Cinematic Arts.

I am an undergraduate. Can I take graduate courses?

To take a graduate class, you must receive approval from the instructor, the department offering the course and the chair of your major department. See your academic advisor for further information.

Is there a different tuition rate for undergraduate and graduate SCA courses?

Yes. Please check the Fall 2008 Schedule of Classes for tuition rates.

Where can I sign up for “D” classes?

Beginning Thursday, April 10, 2008, prior to registration students should do the following:

  • Animation & Digital Arts (CTAN): Go to the Animation & Digital Arts office (LPB 202a)
  • Critical Studies (CTCS): Go to the Critical Studies office (LUC 405)
  • Interactive Media (CTIN): Go to the Interactive Media office (LUC 310)
  • Production (CTPR): Go to the Student Affairs office (CTV G130)
  • Writing (CTWR): Go to the Writing office (LUC 301)

CTAN designated classes apply toward the Animation & Digital Arts Minor.
CTHP designated classes apply toward the Cinema-Television for the Health Professions Minor.
CTIN designated classes apply toward the Video Game Design & Management Minor.
CNTV designated classes apply toward the Cinema-Television Minor.
CTWR designated classes apply toward the Screenwriting Minor.
