Writing Professor Publishes New Book

Writing Division associate professor Pamela Douglas's book, Writing the TV Drama Series: How To Succeed as a Professional Writer in TV, appears this week from Michael Wiese Productions.  The book includes interviews with John Wells, David Milch, and Steven Bochco, among several others.  The book is also available on Amazon.com and will be in bookstores by the end of October.  Jeff Melvoin, executive producer of the television series, ALIAS, NORTHERN EXPOSURE and other shows calls it "Remarkably comprehensive and up-to-date.
