Interactive Media Professor Invited to Korean Workshop

Interactive Media Division Assistant Professor Julian Bleecker was invited to the recent International Workshop on Urban Play and Locative Media at the Art Center Nabi, Seoul South Korea. The workshop brought together an international group of emerging  technology practitioners, designers, urban anthropologists and artists focused on the possibilities of mobile, location-based and pervasive electronic experiences within an urban context. The emphasis was on issues of participation, play, process, and engagement in urban environments that incorporate a sense of the social, cultural and historical context of a specific locale.  First year MFA Interactive Media graduate student Marc Tuters also attended.
