The three-story building named in honor of renowned Academy Award-winning editor Marcia Lucas (American Graffiti, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Star Wars) houses sound and video facilities as well as the John C. Hench Division of Animation & Digital Arts.

Immediately adjacent is the Steven Spielberg Scoring Stage that includes a recording studio (large enough to hold 50 musicians), a new digital console and state-of-the art recording equipment.

John C. Hench Animation & Digital Arts Facilities

Located on the second floor of the Marcia Lucas Post-Production building, this facility includes administrative offices and equipment as noted below:

John C. Hench Animation Studio:

(28) individual student cubicles equipped for cel and/or computer animation, all installed with HP 8200 Work Stations with NVidia Graphic cards and software

Software: Maya (3D), Softimage XSI (3D), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Go-Live (web), Adobe Audition (sound), Adobe formerly Macromedia: Director, Flash (web, Dreamweaver), Composite VFX software Boujou, Stitcher, Commotion and Shake

Note: Pixar's Photorealistic Renderman, Renderman Artist Tools and Renderman for Maya are also installed on every workstation in the program.
