The Arduino: Simple, Everyday Microcontrollers for Interactive Media

In this workshop we will go over the fundamentals of microcontrollers for interactive media. We will focus specifically on how to set up and write basic programs for the Arduino microcontroller. We will discuss the principles of physical computing and the concepts behind integrating sensors and other external devices to your computer for art-technology and design projects. Requires materials fee for Arduino board and USB cable. Also requires a laptop. Limited to 12 students. Email Julian Bleecker on or after November 12 to sign up.
