City of Light/City of Angels Film Festival

Writing Division Chair Howard Rodman, will help kick off this year's City of Light/City of Angels Film Festival with a screening of the film Papa at the DGA on Tuesday, April 4.  

The Festival, in its tenth year, celebrates (and brings to LA) the best of new French cinema, and Rodman will be conducting a Q&A following the screening.  Details at http://www.colcoa.com

Also according to reliable sources, Professor Rodman will play one of the 100 guitars at the March 29 Disney Hall concert, performing Glen Branca’s “Symphony No. 13 for 100 Electric Guitars.”  This is part of the Philharmonic’s “Minimalist Jukebox” series
