Advisors
The School of Cinematic Arts' long-standing relationship with entertainment industry leaders has been an important factor in keeping our curriculum, equipment and facilities at the cutting edge. A key element of our success is our advisory boards, which draw on the expertise of women and men from throughout the entertainment world, and whose members generously offer their insight to the school's senior administration.

SCA advisory groups include:
Alumni Development Council
Members of this group work together to guide the school with their ideas, communicate the needs of the school to friends and alumni, and help find ways to reach the school’s financial and academic goals. These goals include curricular and extra-curricular projects, as well as fundraising for division-based projects, general dean’s fund, scholarships, equipment, diversity programs, and student-alumni mentorship programs.
Board of Councilors
Composed of some of the world's top creative executives, the Board of Councilors advises the dean on long-term goals and strategies, identifies industry trends, and helps develop the necessary resources for academic programs.
