August & Moritz Set for Preacher Feature

John August (Stark ’94 - Charlies Angels, Big Fish, Corpse Bride) is set to write Frankenweenie for Tim Burton and Disney, as well as the comic book adaptation of Preacher for Sam Mendes and Columbia. 

Preacher will be produced by Neal Moritz (Stark ‘85) through his Original Films [OF] banner. OF is also responsible for Prison Break, the Fast & Furious franchise, I Am Legend, Superman Returns, Evan Almighty and many more. In 2010 expect The Green Hornet, Battle: Los Angeles & Flash Gordon and many more from OF.
