Children's Access Reviewed

Critical Studies professor Ellen Seiter's book, The Internet Playground: Children's  Access, Entertainment and Miseducation was reviewed in the latest issue of the journal Information, Communication & Society. 

The reviewer wrote that "Seiter argues convincingly that children should be made aware of the differences between commercial and non-commercial websites, especially because these are often difficult to discern and opines that the critical evaluation of information must be at the center of teaching about the Internet."
