Selected as a fellow by Korean Film Council

Christine Shin (MFA'05 Production) has been selected with her feature
project as one of the five fellows for this year's Filmmakers' Development
Lab by Korean Film Council.

The program begins with one-on-one mentoring at an one-week script
development lab which will be held in Korea later this month. Then, she and
the other fellows will pitch their projects at Independent Film Week
(previously IFP Market) in New York in September, and the Co-Production
Forum at the Pusan International Film Festival and Asian Film Market in Korea
in October.  

Christine's graduate thesis film, Janie, has been now invited to over 40 festivals
worldwide and has received numerous awards such as Cine Golden Eagle Award
and Worldfest Houston Gold Remi Award.
