Miranda Banks Spoke

At Nordic Media Festival

Visiting Assistant Professor Miranda Banks recently attended the Nordic
Media Festival in Bergen, Norway where she was invited to speak about the
local, regional, and global impact of the recent Writers Guild of America
strike.

Dr. Banks has just her final term in her two year position as a
visiting professor in Critical Studies at in the School of Cinematic
Arts--she recently accepted an assistant professorship in the Department of
Visual and Media Arts at Emerson College in Boston.
