Several Film Screenings Planned

And The Mini-Series of David L. Wolper on display

* Thursday, July 10 ­ Tropic Thunder.  A new comedy with Ben Stiller, Robert
Downey, Jr.  and Jack Black, its theatrical release date is August 15.
Reservations for the general community will begin on June 27.  For the SCA
Network, reservations are already open.  Norris Theatre at 7:00pm.

* Sunday, July 13 ­ Freezer Burn.   Written and directed by SCA alum Charles
Hood, it is a story of a man and his cryogenic quest for love.  At Norris
Theatre beginning at 7:30pm, the screening will be followed by a q&a with
the cast and crew.   The associate producer, Michael Consiglio is also an
SCA alum.

In  addition to the screenings, there is an ongoing exhibition of The
Mini-Series of David L. Wolper currently on display at the Wolper Center in
the Doheny Library. 

It will be up until July 30.  The Summer Program will present a two-part Pitch
Seminar hosted by Frederick Levy that will teach the ins and outs of pitching ideas
to development executives. 

Part 1 will be July 8 from 6-9pm in the Leavey Library Auditorium and Part 2 will by
July 10 beginning at 6pm, again in the Leavey Library Auditorium.
