Michael Renov Co-Editor

of The Sage Handbook of Film Studies

Associate dean Michael Renov is the co-editor (with James Donald) of a major new volume, The Sage Handbook of Film Studies, which examines the discipline of film studies, reflecting on its intellectual sources, mapping its development globally, and interrogating specific topics in depth.  

Critical Studies chair Anne Friedberg was a member of the International Editorial Board for the volume.  

Contributors include Vanessa Schwartz of the History Department, alumnus Bhaskar Sarkar, and former colleagues Lynn Spigel and Dana Polan.
