Tata Animation Group Arrives

The 20 animators and visual effects artists from the Tata Elxsi group arrived yesterday afternoon from Mumbai, India and began their three week workshop today with preliminary welcome remarks by associate dean Michael Renov.  

Organized by Animation chair Kathy Smith and coordinated by MFA Production Supervisor Mar Elepano, the various classes in lighting, rendering, motion capture and several other specialties will be taught by full-time and adjunct instructors as well as experts from outside the school.   

While here, the 18 men and 2 women will stay at the Cardinal Gardens Apartments, located across the street from the university.
