Fady Hadid Nominated for 4 Webb Awards

Production student Fady Hadid has been nominated for four Webby Awards for Best Reality, Editing, Public Service and Activism and News and Politics: Series for his program, Hometown Baghdad. 

Also nominated for the People's Voice Awards, the series features 38 short, MTV-style videos following the story of three young Iraqis struggling to survive during the Iraq War.  The series has been produced with Chat the Planet, a global youth dialogue company, and the Voice Awards are open for voting from the public by going here.  

Fady is an Iraqi who was first introduced to SCA faculty as a student at one of the workshops in Jordan a couple of years ago, and who because of his talent was encouraged and aided by SCA to enroll here.
