Norman Hollyn; Field Producer

On a series of Personal Public Service Announcements

Production associate professor Norman Hollyn reports that he is going to work as a Field Producer on a series of Personal Public Service Announcements made by teams of students working in Atlanta on National HIV Testing Day (April  23). 

The participants in the event, co-sponsored by Nokia, Verizon and the Center for Disease Control (and organized under the auspices of the University of Georgia in Atlanta), will shoot footage on their Nokia cel phones and send the footage back to a central location, where student editors (under the guidance of the Field Producers) will assemble the material into one or more PPSAs for upload by that evening. 

The event will include a day of seminars on April 22nd, shooting and completion on the 24th, and discussions on the 25th.
