DGA Winners Announced

First Look 2.0

The three top prize winners and three runners-up that were hand-picked out of 46 entered films at First Look 2.0 by an industry panel were announced on Wednesday, April 2.

China took home the Gold at First Look 2.0

Faculty members from across the school hosted each of the festival screenings, as well presented Artistic Awards within their concentrations. The categories included cinematography, sound, editing, writing, directing and producing.

    * Outstanding Producing presented by Brenda Goodman
            Arvin Chen, Andres Garcia and Gregory Shamo for Limpiando Sapos

    * Outstanding Screenwriting presented by Ted Braun

Over The Line was a DGA finalist.

    * Outstanding Directing presented by Helaine Head
            Shyam Balsé for Monsoon
