SCA Commencement 2008 TIMELINE

February 19-21 (Tue – Thu)

Graduate Fair – Class of 2008, outside the Bookstore
Order Class Rings, Graduation Announcements

March 5 – April 2

Register for graduation and order SCA ceremony tickets by filling out Commencement Cards in
your Division office.

April 8 & 9

Last chance to proof your name in the Commencement Book displayed at Degree Progress
(SAS 010) or University Publications (Student Union 400).

April 28 – May 16

Pick up tickets for SCA ceremony and honor cords in your Division office.
(Limit of 6 tickets. If you need more, please see your division coordinator.)

April 30 – 12noon on May 16

Rent cap and gown from University Bookstore – 3rd floor
Bachelor Degree = $29.99, Masters = $49.99, Ph.D. = $67.50

Thursday, May 15

9:30 am – The Graduate School PhD Hooding Ceremony, Bovard Auditorium
5:00 pm – Baccalaureate Service, Bovard Auditorium. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
Friday, May 16 – GRADUATION DAY

8:00 am – USC Main Ceremony processional line-up in Alumni Park
8:30 am – Main Commencement Ceremony Processional begins
9:00 am -Main Ceremony begins (no tickets required)
2:00 pm – Students and guests enter Shrine Auditorium for SCA Ceremony
(tickets required)
2:30 pm – SCA Ceremony begins
4:15 pm -Reception at School of Cinematic Arts Lloyd and Carson Sound Stages
