Production associate professor Amanda Pope reports that there is an article in a recent Airport Journals about a documentary she is directing on Florence “Pancho” Barnes, the legendary owner of the Happy Bottom Riding Club, near Edwards Air Force base and the gathering place for many of the great early test pilots including Chuck Yeager. 

Alums working on the film include Nick Spark who is producing and writing, Monique Zavistovski who is editing, Chad Wilson and Clay Westervelt as DP’s, Stuart Sperling who did much of the sound editing, and Alan King who did post-sound.
