Screens at United Nations

DARFUR NOW, written and directed by Writing Division Assistant Professor Ted Braun and produced by Production Professor Mark Harris, was shown on September 20 at a special screening at the United Nations. In attendances were the President of the General Assembly, the head of Humanitarian Affairs, and the assembled ambassadorial corps. 

A Los Angeles screening is scheduled for October 21 as the closing night event of the International Documentary Association's Pare Lorentz Film Festival. SCA faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend. 

The film opens theatrically on November 2 in Los Angeles, at the Laemmle Sunset, and in New York.  It expands to 15 other cities in North America on November 9.
