GOLDA'S BALCONY
Jeremy Kagan Film Opens
Opening in New York and Los Angeles early this month, Production Professor Jeremy Kagan's cinematic transformation of the hit one-woman (who plays 16 parts!) show from Broadway is an original "hybrid" dramatic ( and sometimes funny) movie that mixes many media to emotionally connect with the life of a remarkable woman and the issues of war and peace in the middle east that make the film very prescient today.
Here is Golda Meir - the first female head of state in the twentieth century who in one of her many perceptive observations said:
"Any leader who does not hesitate before sending young men and woman to war, doesn't deserve to be a leader" and "When we abandon hate, we can accomplish anything."
The New York run is at the moment for only a week unless the picture becomes popular. It is at the Laemmle Music Hall, Falbrook 7 and South Coast Village in the LA vicinities.
