The Cinematic Arts Community is invited to become familiar with the school's Moving Image Archive collections.
In addition to USC student films, the archive also hold many special collections. One new DVD recently purchased for the department is entitled
Living Room Cinema: Films from Home Movie Day, Volume 1.
Brief List of Special Collections
The collections listed below are only a small portion of what the Archive offers. We also hold many films collected by the department over the years. These films are available for in house study or for department screenings. Most of our materials are on 16mm film, but we do have some materials on video and DVD.

- Japan Screen Topics (Japanese newsreels from the ‘70s and ‘80s)

The Moving Image Archive is open Mondays through Fridays from 9am to 4pm, and everyone here is happy to assist anyone in their quest for titles or subject matter.
