Renaissance Scholar Award
Two SCA Majors
Admissions director Deri Leong Miller reports that out of ten USC students awarded the 2007 Renaissance Scholarship award, two are SCA majors. They are George Ding, a Production major and an East Asian Languages and Culture minor, and Christina Frenzel, who is double majoring in Production and psychology.
Within the school, 13 SCA majors and 8 minors qualified for the award—eight in production, four in Critical Studies, and one in Interactive Media. The Renaissance Scholars program honors students whose broad interests help them excel academically. They are students whose majors and minors are from widely separated fields of study. The minimum qualification for consideration is a 3.5 GPA.
